Aluminium Persian Bracelet

Metalwork is about to overtake 'Anthro' as a frequently used category in my gallery. When it does, it'll be second only to 'Fiction, Fantasy.'

THE TOP ONE IS THE ALUMINIUM BRACELET. THE OTHERS ARE JUST FOR COMPARISON.

And HOW! Notice the difference in colour between them? The middle one is the same steel full persian that I uploaded a while ago (I'm currently working on setting stones into it). Below that, at the bottom, is some strong steel 4-in-1 that I'm not currently making because I ran out of wire and money, and also because it kills my el-cheapo wire cutters to make the rings.

The aluminium is too thick for making full persian- it forms a solid 'rod,' so I made as much of that as I could and then worked out how to make half persian. I'm pleased to say that I never used instructions or tutorials, but since I can already make FULL. PERSIAN. and this is HALF. PERSIAN. it didn't take a whole lot of effort.

I tried a different fastening, though. linking a short, looped piece of wire to the 'half' end lets it slot into the 'full' end quite securely. It's quite hard to fasten, but you can get two different, albeit similar, sizes depending on where you link the rod in.

The solid full persian was meant to be sort of an ornament (it fits on the top of the wrist, like a watch), but now that I consider its similarity to the half persian, it looks kind of like a deformity in the weave. What do you think?
